A flower sprout
A bird that sang
And the sun come out

Was deep dark blue
I combed the sand
With a barefoot shoe

As all the people strolled by
I lifted my hand
And shaded my eye

Was bright and warm

Happiness is born

About Me
- David Borlo
- March 3rd, 1970 on top of a hill in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was released into the world according to God's catch and release program. Ever since then I have been swimming my way back up stream. Along the way I have discovered a few things. One, I love making up new words. It worked for Shakespeare. Two, I love the feel of the ocean breeze and three, I love my family. I have been writing poems on and off for 20 years and am hopeful that somewhere in the words you are inspired to be apart of this expression we call life.
