FIGURE IT

It’s hard to build
A snowball in June
Or bask in the sun
By the light of the moon

But I'm figuring it out
And should have it soon
I'm staying in bed
'til way way past noon

Singing in silence
Still making a tune
Turning my bubble bath
Into a swimming lagoon

Playing 52 cards
With a wild baboon
Riding to school
In a water balloon

I'm working
And thinking
And figuring
Some more
I'm adding
And subtracting
And dividing by four
Go figure
Who knew
This would be
Such a chore
